How long does it take to set up a company in China?

With EAY, a trading company with two bank accounts and import and export rights takes 3–4 months under the CHINA package. A structure with a Hong Kong holding takes 4–6 months, and a trust structure 6–9 months. A simple WFOE without a bank account takes 4–6 weeks under Company Basic.

How much does it cost to set up a company in China?

Small business packages start from $3,120. Turnkey trading infrastructure with two banks starts from $20,000, and a structure with a Hong Kong holding starts from $28,000. The final price depends on the scope and is fixed in the contract. Government fees and notary costs are billed at cost.

Can a foreign company open a bank account in China?

Yes, through its own company in China, and Hong Kong companies can also use NRA accounts. The decision always belongs to the bank, so EAY does not promise the outcome. If a bank refuses, we apply to a second and third bank at no extra charge.

Do I need my own company in China to buy from Chinese factories?

No. Your Purchasing Office at EAY in Shanghai finds and verifies suppliers, audits factories and inspects goods without you opening a company. You remain the buyer and the supply contract is between you and the factory.

How does the export VAT refund work?

Your company registers as an exporter, then files applications based on the supplier fapiao, export declaration and foreign currency proceeds. The refund is credited to the company's account, at a rate from 0 to 13% depending on the product code. EAY's fee is charged only after the refund is credited.

Who controls the company and its bank accounts?

You do. Seals and tokens are held under a custody contract with a log of every use, and payments follow an authority matrix with dual confirmation. Seals and tokens are returned on first request.

What happens if we decide to leave EAY?

We hand over documents, seals, access rights and accounting within 10 working days. This commitment is written into the contract.

In which languages can we work with EAY?

Our working languages are English, Russian and Chinese. Contracts and templates can be prepared in these three languages.
